On Sunday, a group of individuals, who remain unidentified, fatally shot Mufti Qaiser Farooq, a prominent figure within the Pakistan-based terrorist organization known as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Qaiser Farooq, who was among the most wanted leaders of LeT, played a pivotal role as one of the organization's founding members. Notably, he was closely associated with Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the infamous 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack.

According to media reports, this deliberate and targeted attack occurred near a religious institution in the Samanabad area on Saturday, resulting in the tragic death of 30-year-old Qaiser Farooq. He sustained gunshot wounds to his back and was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing medical treatment.
