Jewish worshippers at Joseph's Tomb in Judea and Samaria were assaulted by Muslims

Late Wednesday night, as per an IDF statement on Thursday morning, there was an attack by Palestinian gunmen on Jewish worshippers at Joseph's Tomb in Nablus.

In response, the IDF took action to safeguard the worshippers, resulting in several Palestinian gunmen getting injured during the exchange of gunfire.

In Addition to the shooting, the Palestinians also threw explosives, set tires on fire, and hurled stones at Israeli security forces present at Joseph's Tomb.

The pilgrimage to the tomb was organised by the family of Moishe Kleinerman, a teenager who has been missing since early 2022.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, one Palestinian lost their life in the clashes.

As per Reuters, the Nablus battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad group, claimed that its members were engaging with the Israeli occupation forces and groups of settlers who had entered the area of Joseph's Tomb.
